Choose a horseback ride to match your abilities and your desires.  There are no limits to what we have to offer you!   We offer custom horseback rides for groups, pairs, or single riders.    Our rides are tailored to your abilities.  You will grow in your horsemanship. INTRODUCTORY HALF DAY RIDE:  Our most popular ride is our half day three to four hour ride for $90.00 per rider.  In this ride, you will explore the Cascade Mountains by horseback on a scenic trail through forest and meadow lands.  Watch for local wildlife, spring and summer flowers, and brilliant fall colors.  You will see where the elk run and old homesteads.  This trail is suitable for all riders with little or no experience, but with a desire to ride, and yet extremely exciting for the experienced rider.  It is a great introductory ride!!  
 

ADVANCED FULL DAY RIDE:   We also offer our full day ride, five to eight hours at $140.00 per person.  This full day ride is more challenging and the rider should have more experience   Happy Trails will always match your ride to your abilities.  The ride may travel to our beautiful secret lake tucked away in the mountains where you could catch mountain trout or take a swim as we take our rest stop.  Or this ride could take you to the top of Goat Peak, where your heart will race from the adventure and the views of surrounding the mountains and valleys.  Glorious Mount Rainer can be seen from the site of the old fire watch tower.  This is only a sampling of the possibilities available to you with your Happy Trails Ride.
  IMPORTANT INFORMATION TO ALL RIDERS:  
You will need the following items on your ride:

-          Sack lunch and drinks, including water
-          Hat- cowboy or baseball (helmet, if desired)
-          Gloves, bandana, scarf, sunglasses, etc.
-          Long pants (no shorts), long sleeve shirts (at least an outer long sleeve shirt)
-          Coats, jackets, to be prepared for changing mountain weather
-          Insect repellent, sun screen, lip balm, etc.
-          Long socks with boots or shoes with heel and flat sole (tennis shoes okay).
           Be aware that thick soled boots, shoes, and platforms will not fit in the stirrups).
-          Camera with film and fresh batteries

 

DIRECTIONS TO HAPPY TRAILS: 
Eastbound from Seattle:  
Take I-90 to Exit 74 (West Nelson Siding Road), turn right onto West Nelson Siding Road, cross railroad tracks, drive ½ mile (.5 mile) and look for Pioneer Trail Road on left.  PLEASE DRIVE ONLY 10 MPH ON PIONEER TRAIL ROAD!   Turn left down Pioneer Trail Road and follow straight into Happy Trails (approximate ¼ mile).  Follow signs to parking.   

Westbound from Spokane or Ellensburg:  
Take I-90 to Exit 74 (West Nelson Siding Road), turn left onto West Nelson Siding Road, cross railroad tracks, drive ½ mile (.5 mile) and look for Pioneer Trail Road on left. PLEASE DRIVE ONLY 10 MPH ON PIONEER TRAIL ROAD!   Turn left down Pioneer Trail Road and follow straight into Happy Trails (approximate ¼ mile).  Follow signs to parking.
